  25. Hi Paul. Just found your web site. Frederick John Dallenger and Adelaide Type were my great grandparents. Their son, Frederick John Dallenger, born 1870 in Woolwich, was my grandfather. Marian Dalo Day, Frederick jnr's younger sister, has a grandson, Eric Day who lives in Somerset. Frederick snr's eldest daughter was Adelaide Dallenger and her granddaughter lives in New Zealand. I always thought that Adelaide was born in Lyme Regis ! I have traced the our Dalle(i)ngers back to 1687. A John Dallinger is mentioned in the 1674 Hearth Tax Returns for Stradbroke., Suffolk. I believe that he is my 8x ggf, however, I can't prove that for sure. Hope this is of interest to you. Best wishes, Rosy James reaj@hatpeg.freeserve.co.uk .
