15. Joseph TYPE¹ was born in 1828 in Chard, Somerset. Between 1832 and 1853 he was Blacksmith & Whitesmith in 30 High Street, Chard, Somerset.^4,5 He died in 1904. He was Civil Engineer in Barton Hill, Shaftesbury, Wilts.

Joseph TYPE and Mary DEATIN were married on 18 Apr 1848 in Londonderry, Ireland. Mary DEATIN¹ was born in 1827 in Templemore, Ireland.¹⁷ She died in 1864.

Joseph TYPE and Charlotte Maria KNIGHT were married on 30 Jul 1866 in Longbridge Deverill, Wilts.¹¹ Charlotte Maria KNIGHT¹ (daughter of Thomas KNIGHT and ?) was born in 1838. She died on 27 Apr 1871 in Shaftesbury.¹⁸ died 3 days after giving birth to Charlotte from puerpural fever. Joseph TYPE and Charlotte Maria KNIGHT had the following children:

50	ii.	Emily TYPE1 was born in 1868. She was educated Board school in 1881 in Bath.19 Monitor She was living in 1881 in Bristol.19 She died in 1938 in Hammersmith. She was Teacher.
51	iii.	Charlotte TYPE1 was born in 1871. She died in 1871.

Joseph TYPE and Elizabeth CARTER were married in 1871 in Shaftesbury. Elizabeth CARTER¹ was born in 1830. She died in 1901.
