56. In 1865 Joseph TYPE¹ was Ag Lab in Burnham, Axbridge.²⁸ He was born on 18 Dec 1865 in Shute, Colyton, Axminster, Devon. In 1892 he was Master wheelwright in Portsmouth. He died in 1942 in Portsmouth.

Joseph TYPE and Sarah THOMAS were married on 6 Mar 1892 in Portsmouth.¹¹ Sarah THOMAS¹ (daughter of William THOMAS and ?) was born in 1873. She died in 1941 in Portsmouth. Joseph TYPE and Sarah THOMAS had the following children:
